A life-long Brampton resident, Mrs Ellen Connolley (77), wife of Mr John Thomas Connolley (82), 49 Barker Lane died on Thursday week at Scarsdale Hospital. Her husband is a retired employee of Markham and Company's Broad Oak Works. She leaves a husband, three sons, six daughters, 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs Connolley was a member of the Church of the Annunciation, Spencer Street where Requiem Mass on Monday was said by Canon L J Williamson, prior to interment in Boythorpe Cemetery.

Mourners were Mr and Mrs Stephen Connolley, Mr and Mrs A Taylor, Mrs C Younger, Mr John Connolley, Mr and Mrs Thomas Connolley, Mr and Mrs J Byrne, Mr and Mrs C Wain, Mrs I Hudson, Mr and Mrs F Parris, Mr Bernard Connolley, Mr Alan Taylor, Mr Ronald Connolley, Mr Frederick Parris, Mr John Parris, Mr Thomas Connolley jnr., Mr Stuart Wain, Miss Aldine Hudson, Miss Mavis Hudson, Mrs K McHugh, Mr and Mrs S Craven, Mary Ellen Craven, Mrs L Goodman, Mrs A Finney snr. and Mrs A Finney jnr. Unable to attend were the widower (Mr J T Connolley) and granddaughter (Mrs G Grafton). A number of former church colleagues and neighbours attended.
