John MILLS married Louisa BULL on the 3 October 1899 in the Parish Church of All Saints, Emscote, Warwickshire. They had at least six children. John, according to family rumours, was an expert hedge layer who was persuaded by the Duke of Northumberland to move north to work on his estate. He was also said to be a superb rabbit catcher.
